Self-Service Portal SCSM 2012 gives an error “Your request could not be submitted”
When you work with the Service Manager 2012 self-service portal and create Service Request you can get a message "Your request could not be submitted".
In our case, the issue was due to two request offerings used the same form template. The template also contains analyst commentary. After creating a dedicated template for each request offering the problem disappeared.
Conclusion: For different request offerings on the Service Manager 2012 self-service portal don’t use the same template.
